Account requirements.
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country (typically 13 or older). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
RSS content.
Lumio is a reader. Articles displayed in the app are fetched from third-party RSS feeds and websites and remain the property of their original publishers. Lumio does not own, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of that content. If you are a publisher and want a feed removed from Lumio, contact us using the address below and we will remove it.
Acceptable use.
You agree not to:
- Use the app to break the law or infringe others' rights.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Lumio's systems.
- Submit feeds that contain illegal content, malware, or content you do not have the right to distribute.
- Abuse the in-app reporting, submission, or feedback channels.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Subscriptions.
Lumio offers an optional paid subscription (“Lumio Pro”). Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment, renewal, refund, and cancellation are governed by the store's terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Disclaimers.
Lumio is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific feed will continue to be available.
Limitation of liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumio and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date and, where required, surfaced inside the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lumio's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (TODO: confirm jurisdiction with legal review.)
